How to enjoy life

How to enjoy life, a basic guide written especially for you.

www.nakedwildandfree.comBe grateful;

Gratitude is the biggest part of a life well lived. We need to be grateful for all the things we have now and stop living in a mind of lack or thinking when I am rich/have a bigger house/fall in love etc I will be happy and grateful.

When I wake up in the morning I am thankful I am alive, I am grateful I am breathing – how amazing are our lungs!. I am grateful for the warm bed and cosy blankets that have supported me all night, think of all the homeless people who last night slept outside in the cold. I am grateful for my feet and legs which take me to the bathroom, imagine how many amputees would give anything to walk again with ease!. I am grateful for my bladder that is has held my urine all night, think of all the folks who are incontinent. I am grateful for the awesome plumbing and toilet I am using, how miraculous that we have indoor toilets that actually flush our waste away. I am grateful for the hot water coming out of a tap, think of all those people who walk miles each day to collect water, or those who have to drink water from puddles and in contaminated rivers. I smile at myself in the mirror and am thankful I love myself, I am grateful for my hair, my face and my freckles that make me different from anyone else, how amazing that every single one of us is totally unique.

All of this gratitude and I haven’t even made it downstairs yet. So there is always something, right now you can be thankful for.

Look around you, what are you grateful for?

Start a gratitude journal and spend a few moments each day listing things you are grateful for. If you write 10 things a day that you are grateful for, that’s 70 things by the end of the week, 3,640 each year, if you did that for 20

years you would have 72,800 things to be grateful for!

Feel good Friday mantras

We all like positivity quotes right?

Well here are 5 feel good Friday mantras to get you through the weekend:

1. When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. That’s my religion. Abraham Lincoln

2. Giving back, doing motivational speeches and stuff like that, that’s always made me feel good. If you repeatedly go out there, and you are the change that you want to see, then that’s what you are. Keke Palmer

4. Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.  Mahatma Ghandi

5. The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.  Oprah Winfrey

Today remember, no matter who you are or what you have, you always have something to give, whether its just a 5 minute chat with an old person at the bus stop who may not have spoken to anyone for a week or buying someone lunch, you can make such a difference in someone else’s life today, and in return you make a difference in your own.

STOP living in fear.

Stop living in fear.

Send out peace and love. Not just to one country but to all countries, not to one type of people but to all people, not to favour one religion but to all religions, not to who is right or wrong, not to who is poor or rich but to everyone no matter what their circumstances. There are many bad things happening everyday all over the planet, the media only seem to report on the ones they choose to, the ones that have a hidden agenda, we are all humans, we are all living in this world, not matter what colour our skin, no matter where in the world we live, no matter what language we speak, no matter how we die or what or who killed us, we all have families, mums, dads, brothers, sisters, children that will miss us. If everyone put down their weapons, if everyone woke up tomorrow and agreed to love and help each other, war wouldn’t exist. The greed, the governments and the elite few who want us to be puppets and hate, are the only ones gaining from these disasters and war.

FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real

Unleash your power

Everyone has a gift to give or share with the world, some people know straight away what that gift is, others need time to grow and figure it out, some people don’t ever know they have a gift because they never work on themselves, I am guessing because you are reading this you don’t fall into the last category.

Inside you is amazing power, the power to heal, the power to make wonderful things happen, the power to choose your destiny.

Are you really living life?

Question of the day!

What is your answer?

I think half of you will answer, “No! I love what I do, I travel, have fun, my work is awesome and something I love”

The other half (I am being generous saying half, I am guessing it’s more like 3/4) will be defensive and say “You have to work to pay your bills so I am stuck in this job because I have a mortgage/car/children/cat etc”

My hopeful wish for you!

Hope, a funny word when said aloud, one that gives a feeling of comfort of better things to come. I hope you give love, unconditional love in bucket loads, I hope you treat and get treated in a way which is for your highest good, I hope you get to feel rain on your face, get to see the first buds of spring peeping through the ground, get to hear the morning song of the birds, get to feel a baby’s soft hand or a warm, cosy paw. I hope you feel rich and abundant in life and experiences. I hope you feel confident being the perfectly lovely you. I hope you know how much you mean to someone. I hope you know you are loved.

(if you know who did the original photo please comment and credit them, I can’t find it)

You can be happy and abundant

How many people woke up today and had to drag themselves out of bed, get dressed in clothes they wouldn’t normally wear and don’t feel comfortable in, drive/get the train/bus early in the morning whilst half asleep to get to a destination they don’t like going to, to be there for 8+ hours, eating and drinking when told they are allowed to, asking permission to go to the toilet, acting in a certain way to ‘fit in’ whist looking out of the window wishing they were somewhere else. Doing this for 6 days a week, to get money to pay for things they don’t need but they think they should have because society and the media have brainwashed them into believing they would be happier and more fulfilled with the items, working for 48 hours a week (not including the wasted time travelling back and forth) to get money to save up to get 2 weeks off a year on holiday so they can ‘relax’.
